Ty Conwell

A fan of music in general, he has thoroughly enjoyed playing all genres, especially Jazz, Latin and Blues. Most recently, Ty's new interest in Country has led to his joining Gary Grant Chamberlain and Band Chamberlain.

Some of his musical inspiration has come from Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, Simon Phillips and Buddy Rich.

His favorite gear includes DDrum, TAMA Starclassic, and Zildjian.

Lifelong drummer since an early age, playing in the jazz, ensemble and marching bands at Alexandria Monroe High School.

During and after high school, Ty started playing with The Don Hall Band playing in various venues around Indiana.
